Sealife

Recently we went to the Sealife Centre in Birmingham. We had some 2 for 1 entry tickets, so thought we would use them. We enjoyed the visit. Andy was a bit disappointed that the Sharks weren't very big (and too quick for photos!) and the Piranha tank wasn't bigger! So a trip to the Blue Planet Aquarium in Chester might be on the cards. The photos we took weren't too bad, as flash photography is not allowed.

We're off to Wales with the dogs for a holiday, so we will start the Crete report when we get back. Wela i chi!
We paid £15.50 for the both of us using the Merlin 2 for 1 ticket.

England Floods

England has been hit with the worst floods for a long time recently. Although Shrewsbury hasn't been as badly affected with the new flood defences, other parts of the country have.

Gloucestershire and Worcestershire are two of the counties that have been hit the worst. Pictures from the BBC show just how severe the flooding has been.
Residents are getting food, clean water and aid through, but when the floods have subsided, there will still be the almighty task of cleaning up ahead of them. We hope that the insurance companies are swift in paying up!
